NHL Playoff Picks 2009 (finals)

Well, I did get the Pens over Canes right.  I forgot to predict the Wings series, I woulda predicted them too.  Honest!  Excluding the Wings/Hawks series, I’ve predicted 7/13.  I know it’s crap, but gimme me a break with the Wings so I’m 8/14.
Why did I miss the Detroit series?  Well, I went to to […]

Fuck Me…. Forgot To Predict Round 3…..

…. but I have a good reason for forgetting.  I’ll post why in a day or two. The Pens/Canes series hasn’t started yet, so I’ll go with the stupid Pens winning in a quick 5 games.  I did get 3/4 right last round.

NHL Playoff Picks 2009 (round 2)

Anyone got rope?  I wanna hang myself.  I’ll even help you tighten the knot.  Had gone an embarrassing 3/8 in round 1.  Yeah, I was risky taking some underdogs, but there is no way SJ and NJ should lose.  No wonder they both have a “J” in their name…. Jerkoffs.  Thanks for tanking both my […]

NHL Playoff Picks 2009 (round 1)

It’s playoff time douchebags.  I got two playoff pools to submit before midnight, so let’s get at it! Last year I chose 11/15 series right, but I will improve.  A bunch of easy series in round 1 makes it doable.  Here we go:

San Jose (1) vs. Anaheim (8) - Quick exit for the Ducks.  A […]

The Ottawa and Buffalo Curse Continues

Why must these two second rate cities provide me such comedic fodder?  It’s like they beg me to embarrass them every year.  But before the comedy starts, let me digress…
Network Solutions is by far, the biggest, smelliest and hairiest asses in the cyber universe.  These douches are not only a ripoff, but can’t even transfer […]

Valentine’s Day Sports Edition

How many athletes are there in pro sports?  How many in amateur sports?  Think you’re smart?  Then let’s hear it.  But one thing’s for sure.  For all the countless players out there, it’s obvious these frolicking fellas are a match made in heaven.  Here’s why……
Gary Coleman and Vince Coleman:   Black, 80s stars, constant run-ins […]

Ottawa Fires Coach Again…. Unveil New Jersey

It’s about time someone got fired, but was it the right one?  Nope.  Hartsburg is no Scotty Bowman, but he’s just one guy.  What about all the players and Mr. Garbled Mouth himself Bryan Murray?  As I pointed out in an old post, he’s a chronic lifetime loser.  Check out his record.  Aside from one […]

Mats Sundin - Show Me The Money!

Sundin got his wish.  A nice relaxing and golf filled vacation, plus a two year $20,000,000 contract which Vancouver offered?  Not exactly sure as his agent just mentioned only one year has been agreed upon for now.  Never the less, the first year prorated will be about $5,000,000 as he expects to play at the […]

Sean Avery Suspended, But Good For Hockey?

Maybe for suit wearing assholes like Bettman, but not for the NHL and fan interest.  Why?  Easy.  Controversy is good and everything Avery spurts out of his scarred mouth is a treat to listen to.  He’s a decently skilled player, but he is great to watch.  You never know what he’ll do or say - […]

Butter Fingered Broken Trophies

Here’s a funny compilation of klutzy athletes.  Had a hard time finding them.  If you know any more, paste a link!  By far, the best one is Pete Weber!  Long clip, so you might want to skip to the end.  If only I saw this live!
