Alex Rios…. Who Gives A F@ck?

Alex Rios gets paid $6.4 million a year.  Among the biggest wastes of money on the Blue Jays roster.  Some reason every media idiot and baseball pool mag projects this guy to be a .300 hitter/30 HR/100 RBI guy, but if you look at his stats, none of his years come close to that except […]

Valentine’s Day Sports Edition

How many athletes are there in pro sports?  How many in amateur sports?  Think you’re smart?  Then let’s hear it.  But one thing’s for sure.  For all the countless players out there, it’s obvious these frolicking fellas are a match made in heaven.  Here’s why……
Gary Coleman and Vince Coleman:   Black, 80s stars, constant run-ins […]

MLB Playoff Picks 2008 (World Series)

Six prior series and only got 3 right.  50%.  As good as flipping a coin.  BUT it will be 4/7 after this series.  Can’t believe the Rays keep winning.  Lucky?  Yup.  On paper, they should not be doing what they are doing.  Yeah, Crawford is back, and so is injury prone Baldelli.  Who cares.
I have […]

MLB Playoff Picks 2008 (round 2)

Yup.  Stunk the big one.  Only picked 2/4 winners last round.  Boston and Philly.  At least one thing turned out well…. that both Chicago teams lost!  Back to your abandoned buildings Chicago fans.  I’ll always remember my drive into Chicago with buddies to watch a Blackhawks game.  Creepy slummy buildings all along the highway.  Wow.  […]

MLB Playoff Picks 2008 (round 1)

If you followed my NHL playoff picks, I did pretty well.  Correctly predicted 11/15 series winners.  How will I do in baseball?  Who knows.  Who cares.  But if you’re itching to keep reading, it’s because you’re a gambler just a click away from online betting.  And even better, I’m writing this with woozy innards. Just […]

Mets Choke Again! What Else Is New?

Different year, same result.  Another high payroll Mets team gags like Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction.  What does 99.9% of baseball fans say?  Yippee!
Wright, Delgado, Beltran, Reyes, Santana, Glavine, Pedro, Wagner.  Wow.  Basically, an all-star team.  Although Santana is an awesome pitcher (he also single handedly won me a pool a few years ago), it’s […]

My History of Videogame Baseball (part three)

It’s part three gamers!  My final post about baseball wares.  I’ve got PS1 and PS2 to nag about, but what about 360?  Sorry.  2k baseball is complete shit.  Reviews say so, forums say so and the 2k8 demo I downloaded months ago confirms it.  My last post ended with Genesis games and they were good.  […]

My History of Videogame Baseball (part two)

Here’s part two folks. Part one of my baseball gaming was weeks ago, but being bogged down at work and hockey playoffs, I was busy. Yeah right, I was just lazy! Okay, Intellivision and Apple b-ball games were done with. Now NES and one of my most fav systems - Genesis.

First […]

My History of Videogame Baseball (part one)

A few months ago, I posted My History of Videogame Hockey. I played good games, so-so games and outright trash. As Butthead said in one episode “Fecal Matter. Huh-huh-huh”. Now it’s baseball’s turn.

I’m not a baseball fan as much as as a hockey fan, but I still used to buy them with […]

A.J. Burnett Broken Nail….. Poor Baby!

Hey look at me! I’m a pitcher in a league full of steroid users. I get paid $10,000,000 per year to throw a ball 60 ft, but I have gargantuan problem: My name is A.J. Burnett and I have a broken finger nail. Wahhhhhhhhh!!!
As usual, out of all athletes, baseball […]
