Rob Ramage Gets 4 Years - Still Whines!
Deservedly. Let’s face it. Athletes get off easy when it comes to crime. However, the judge handling Rob Ramage’s case didn’t flinch. Props for that dude. Ramage was, is and always will be a drunk; was a mediocre defenceman traded to a million teams, and was renowned as a very dirty player. Lots of stick-work and slashes during his 200 PIM seasons.
What’s amazing is that his story is similar to Dany Heatley’s. Both involved irresponsible driving killing their passenger. Key difference is that Heatley involved speeding, while Ramage was a drunkard. Is one better than the other? Not to me. But one thing’s for sure, Heatley was given meaningless probation, while Ramage is preparing to get butt-rammed by fellow jailbirds.
Ramage should actually consider himself lucky. The maximum sentence was 14 years, but he got 4. That’s only about 30% of the term…. or for you baseball nuts the equivalent of 2/7 - a .286 batting average. LOL

Convicted of impaired driving, blood alcohol levels exceeding laws and many more including most importantly killing Magnuson. Sounds like an uncontrolled drunk to me.
And yes, he was traded a million times. He got dished around from team to team so many times, he actually played for 7 teams in 8 years at one time. Name one player in NHL history that has been kicked around the can so often?
Not surprisingly, Robby tried to plead not guilty on all charges. DENIED.

So Ramage is, was and always will be a drunk? Where pray tell did you obtain that little piece of info? Do you know him personally? Hang out with him? What an amazingly idiotic thing to write. He was traded to “a million” teams? Really. That wouldn’t be overstated just slightly would it? It’s about as accurate as the rest of the trash you wrote. Perhaps if you weren’t an ass, and an ignorant ass at that, you wouldn’t write such nonsense.
